Biography
Simon Taylor is Assistant Director (Pensions) at West Midlands Pension Fund. Simon has 30 years’ experience in the pensions industry, beginning in the private sector with GEC Marconi and having joined the Fund in 2011. APMI qualified, his extensive experience of pension-related issues includes strategic oversight of funding and integrated risk management aligned to the ever-evolving scheme. His work at the Fund also extends to responsibility for the pensions administration strategy, key stakeholder relationships and customer engagement strategy. Simon also represents the Fund on a number of industry-wide and key stakeholder working groups.Member since
