Biography
Matt is the Deputy Government Actuary. He supports the Government Actuary lead the department and supports clients across the public sector on pensions, investment and financial risk issues. Prior to joining GAD in 2011 Matt was an actuary at several private sector actuarial consultancies providing pension and strategic investment advice to private sector clients. He is a former member of the UK Actuarial Profession’s (IFoA) risk management board, and chairs the joint IFoA and Institution of Civil Engineers risk group.Member since
