Biography
Cllr Andrew Thornton is chair of the West Yorkshire Pension Fund (WYPF), vice chair of the Northern LGPS pool and member of the Local Authority Pension Fund Forum (LAPFF) executive. A councillor in City of Bradford MDC since 2004, he has previously served as Bradford’s cabinet member for Environment & Sport, chaired its Corporate Scrutiny committee and is currently vice-chair of its Governance & Audit Committee. Cllr Thornton became chair of WYPF in 2015 and represents the Metropolitan Council Pension Authorities on the SAB.Member since
