On 4 December 2024, the Board hosted an episode of LGPS Live, a monthly webinar series looking at topical issues within the LGPS. The December episode entitled ‘Five months on from the General Election – what are the implications so far for the LGPS’ included a presentation from the Head of Local Government Pensions at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), Teresa Clay. She set out the headlines from the LGPS Fit for the Future consultation which is open until 16 January 2025. The slides she presented at the webinar are available here.
